We collect information you provide directly, information generated while you use the learning features, and limited technical information needed to operate and improve the app.

• Account information such as email address, encrypted password, display name, and authentication provider details.
• Learning data such as AI conversation history, saved vocabulary, learning goals, progress statistics, and XP data.
• User preferences such as language settings, theme, voice settings, and translation preferences.
• Subscription status and purchase metadata handled through RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
• Usage, device, performance, crash, and analytics data used to maintain and improve the app.

Audio and Voice Data

• Speech-to-text features process voice input in real time to convert speech to text.
• Text-to-speech audio may be generated through ElevenLabs for pronunciation practice.
• Voice recordings are not stored on our servers. Audio is processed for the feature request and then discarded.

How We Use Information

• Deliver personalized Norwegian learning experiences.
• Generate AI conversations and maintain conversation context.
• Provide dictionary definitions, translations, and pronunciation audio.
• Track progress, spaced repetition schedules, and achievements.
• Sync data across devices and manage premium access.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and learning data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion through the app or by contacting support.
