Privacy at norwegian.app

Updated 20 September 2026

Norwegian.app brings together Norwegian learning games and apps created by Martin Mastermo Jensen, including Norskappen and Ordlek. This page explains the shared Google sign-in brand and directs you to the privacy information for the service you use.

Signing in with Google

Norskappen and the Norwegian.app website, including Ordlek, use the shared name norwegian.app on Google’s sign-in screen. Google can provide your account identifier, email address, name and profile picture when you approve sign-in. This information identifies your account and connects you to your saved learning progress. Your Google password is not provided to our apps.

The shared sign-in name does not mean that your learning progress or purchases are automatically shared between the apps. Norskappen and the website manage their account and learning information as described in the policies below. Norwegian.app website games and Ordlek use the same website account.

Norwegian.app website accounts

On the website, account information and learning progress are stored using Convex. Sign-in information is used to authenticate you, save supported progress and preferences, and operate and secure your account. Website hosting and technical request information are handled by Vercel. Usage analytics help us understand how the learning features are used. Account information is retained to provide your account and saved progress until you request deletion, subject to records needed for security or applicable legal obligations.

Google sign-in information is not sold or used for advertising. It is processed by the services needed to operate sign-in and your account. See the service-specific policies above for additional information about processing and providers.

Your choices and contact

You can remove the app’s Google access in your Google Account settings. This does not by itself delete an account or its saved progress. For Norskappen, follow the account deletion instructions. For the Norwegian.app website and Ordlek, you can delete your account from your profile. For questions or requests for access, correction or deletion, contact martin@norwegian.app. Norskappen privacy requests can also be sent to martinkontakter@gmail.com.

These pages are public and do not require sign-in. Product analytics are disabled on this shared policy page. Hosting infrastructure may still process technical request information to deliver and secure it.
