En Ei Et is a focused game for learning whether Norwegian Bokmål nouns use en, ei, or et. These steps solve the most common problems.

Restore a previous purchase

1. Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple or Google account that made the original purchase.

2. Connect the device to the internet.

3. Open a locked A2, B1, or B2 level.

4. Select Restore Purchases on the unlock screen.

Restoring a non-consumable purchase does not charge you again. Family-sharing or household access depends on the storefront settings and product eligibility.

The purchase button says unavailable

• Confirm that the device can open the App Store or Google Play.
• Check the internet connection and any store-account restrictions.
• Make sure in-app purchases are allowed by Screen Time, parental controls, or managed-device settings.
• Fully close and reopen the App, then try again.
• If the store does not offer paid products in your location, all A1 content remains playable for free.

A purchase is pending

Some Google Play payment methods complete later. The App does not unlock paid content until the store confirms payment. Reopen the App after the payment is approved; if needed, use Restore Purchases.

Pronunciation audio is silent

• Turn on Spoken words in the App's sound settings.
• Raise the media volume and check silent or focus modes.
• Disconnect an unintended Bluetooth audio device.
• Restart the App if the phone changed audio output while a word was playing.

Reset learning progress

Open the App's settings and use the reset option. This clears learning history, scores, streaks, and achievements on that device. It does not refund or remove a full-game purchase.

About feminine nouns

Many feminine Bokmål nouns also accept en. By default, En Ei Et teaches a clear article for each noun while showing accepted alternatives in the word information. Enable Strict feminine mode if you specifically want to practise ei whenever it is accepted.

Device support for the first release

• iPhone with iOS 13 or later.
• Android phone with Android 7.0 or later.
• iPad and Android tablet layouts are not supported in the first release.
