The short version

En Ei Et is published by Martin Mastermo Jenssen.

The App does not require an account and does not contain advertising or an analytics SDK. Learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not receive that local learning data.

Apple or Google processes App downloads and in-app purchases under the privacy terms of your store account.

Information stored on your device

• Learning progress for individual words.
• Scores, streaks, achievements, and completed rounds.
• Selected settings, including sound and learning preferences.
• A local record that full access has been unlocked after a valid purchase or restoration.

This information is not transmitted to us. You can clear learning progress from the App's settings. Uninstalling the App normally removes its local data, subject to your device's backup and restoration behavior.

Purchases

The App offers one non-consumable purchase that unlocks additional content. Payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

The App receives a store transaction result and receipt information needed to unlock the content and complete or restore the purchase. In the current client-only version, that information is processed on your device and is not sent to a developer-operated server. Apple or Google may separately process purchase, device, account, tax, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic information under its own privacy policy.

Audio and device permissions

The App plays pronunciation and game audio. It does not record your voice and does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or location for its learning features.

Support messages

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, device type, and troubleshooting details. We use it to answer the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Do not include sensitive personal information that is not needed to solve the issue.

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data or share it for behavioral advertising. We may share support information only with service providers needed to operate our email or website, or when required to protect rights, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Those providers may process information in other countries subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Children

The App is intended for teen and adult language learners and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal data we hold about you, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a complaint to a data-protection authority. Because App learning data stays on your device, we cannot retrieve it from our systems. You can manage it in the App or by uninstalling the App.

Changes to this policy
