When reporting a problem, include the LIV app version, iOS version, the screen involved, and what you expected to happen. Do not email Apple Health values, journal text, passwords, authentication codes, or other sensitive content.

Can I use LIV without Apple Health or OpenAI?

Yes. Choose Not now during Apple Health or OpenAI setup. Today, Journal, Dashboard, Tomorrow Tray, and manual tracking remain available.

How do I change Apple Health access?

Open LIV → Settings → Apple Health → Review or add Apple Health access. You can also revoke Apple’s read permission in iPhone Settings or Health. Private LIV sync and OpenAI Coach access are separate per-metric switches in LIV.

How do I export my data?

Open LIV → Settings → Your data → Export all my LIV data. LIV prepares an authenticated JSON export and opens the system share sheet.

How do I delete my account?

Open LIV → Settings → Account → Delete account, then type the requested confirmation. LIV deletes the private Convex records and the Clerk identity. If a network interruption leaves deletion unfinished, LIV opens a recovery screen and prevents the profile from being recreated until retry succeeds.

Account deletion does not remove source entries from Apple Health.

Why is a Health value missing?

Apple does not tell apps whether an individual read type was denied. A missing, declined, or unavailable value is shown as unknown, never as zero or a failed goal. Check the selected type, date range, and Apple Health permissions, then use Refresh selected Health data in Settings.

Voice input is unavailable

Voice drafts require Microphone and Speech Recognition permission. Check iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security. Voice input creates an editable draft and never sends automatically.
